The glass is coloured rather than painted, so the tint is in the light it throws as well as in the object.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt dims steplessly rather than in fixed steps, and switches between 3000 K, 4000 K and 6000 K, which covers a warm bedside setting and a cool working one from the same lamp. Power comes over USB at 12 V DC, drawing 6 to 10 W, with a one metre cord and a push button switch. The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to fit or replace. Three colours are offered: beige, orange and pink.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBecause it runs from USB it works anywhere there is a charger or a laptop port, which suits a desk, a sideboard, a bedside table or a shelf.
