Black Dome Candle Warmer Lamp

The Viego Co. Black Dome Candle Warmer Lamp is a matte black dome on a wood base that melts a jar candle without ever lighting it. The dome hides the bulb completely, so from across the room it reads as a small task lamp rather than as a warmer.

An in line switch dims it through four levels and sets a three step timer, so the strength of the scent and the shut off time are both handled from the cable rather than from the lamp itself. The head raises and lowers so the heat sits directly over the wax, which is what keeps the melt pool even from the first use to the last. The shade is matte black metal on a brass tone pole and a solid wood base, and a heating bulb is supplied. It plugs in and uses a US plug.

Because there is no flame there is no smoke and no soot, which suits a bedroom, a small flat or anywhere a lit candle would not be left alone. Wipe the shade with a dry cloth once it is cool. The shade and bulb get hot in use, so keep it out of reach of children and pets and stand it on a stable surface.
