Crescent LED Wall Lamp

The Viego Co. Crescent Wall Lamp is a hardwired wall light drawn as one continuous arc of warm light. There is no shade and no visible lamp, only a curved aluminium spine with a silicone diffuser running along its face, so the fixture reads as a line rather than an object on the wall.

It comes in two lengths, 55 cm and 105 cm, and each length curves either left or right, so a facing pair can be hung to mirror one another across a bed or a console. The body is aluminium and iron with a silicone diffuser and sits 20 cm out from the wall at its deepest point. The integrated LED draws 12 to 20 W depending on length and gives a warm white output. It runs on AC 90 to 260 V and is not dimmable at the fixture.

It mounts to a standard wall box and suits a bedside, a sofa wall, a stairwell or a hallway where a conventional sconce would look bulky. Because the arc is directional, pick the left and right versions to suit which way you want the curve to sweep. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician. Mounted at roughly shoulder height the arc reads best against a plain wall.
