Crystal Touch Table Lamp

The Viego Co. Crystal Touch Table Lamp is a small faceted lamp that turns a nightstand into a warm glow rather than lighting the whole room. The cut faces in the shade catch the light from inside, so the shade itself carries the sparkle instead of only passing light through.

It dims steplessly by touch and steps through warm, natural and white light from the same surface, with no switch or dial anywhere on the body. A 2000 mAh battery gives six to eight hours per charge and refills over USB at 5 V in three to four hours. The LED draws 3 W and is integrated, so no bulb is ever replaced. The shade is faceted acrylic on a gold tone alloy base, and three shapes are offered: beaded crystal, fluted dome and diamond crystal.

Because it is cordless it can move to a dinner table, a bathroom shelf or a balcony for an evening and go back to the bedside afterwards. It is small, finished well and charges from any phone charger, which is what makes it an easy gift.
