Long Strip LED Wall Sconce

The Viego Co. Long Strip Wall Sconce is a hardwired wall light that draws a single continuous wave of warm light up the wall. There is no shade and no visible lamp, just an aluminium spine with a silicone diffuser along its face, so at a distance the fixture reads as a drawn line rather than a fitting.

Three lengths are offered, 60 cm, 80 cm and 100 cm, each in black or gold. The integrated LED scales with the length, drawing 13 W at 60 cm, 15 W at 80 cm and 18 W at 100 cm, all at a warm white output. The body is aluminium with a silicone diffuser, which is what allows the curve to hold its shape while still passing light evenly along the whole run. It accepts AC 90 to 260 V and is not dimmable at the fixture.

It mounts to a standard wall box, which makes it suitable beside a bed, along a sofa wall, up a stairwell or in a hallway. The longer runs suit a double-height wall; the 60 cm version fits a narrow bedside gap. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician. Fit it vertically; the curve is drawn to run up a wall rather than across one.
