Spray glass cleaner onto the cloth rather than onto the mirror. The mirror is rated IP44 with the LED strip sealed in silicone at IP65, so ordinary bathroom humidity is expected. The demister has its own touch switch and runs only when you turn it on.

Before: a plain mirror, a ceiling light behind you, and glass you cannot see through for ten minutes after a shower. After: a mirror that floats on a lit wall, an even light on the face, and clear glass while the shower runs.
About this piece
The LED strip sits behind the glass and throws light onto the wall around the mirror rather than into your eyes, so the mirror appears to float and the light in the room lifts without any visible source. Standing at it, your face is lit by reflected light from every side, which is the arrangement that removes shadow rather than adding it. A front-mounted lamp does the opposite.
Three touch switches sit on the glass: brightness, colour temperature and anti-fog. The light dims across a 3500K to 6500K range, warm for the evening, natural white for everyday, cool white for shaving, make-up or cutting hair.
It remembers the setting you last switched off on, and the demister keeps the glass clear while the shower is running instead of ten minutes after.
A strip behind the glass bounces light off the wall, so nothing bright sits in your eyeline.

A lamp above a mirror puts a bright source in your eyeline and lights your face from one direction, which is where the shadows under the eyes and the chin come from.
