Keep it out of direct spray from a shower head, since IP44 covers splashing rather than a jet. If a running film of water confuses the touch sensor, wipe it dry. Clean the 5mm glass with cleaner sprayed onto the cloth rather than onto the mirror.

About this piece
A bathroom mirror that fogs the moment anyone showers is useless at exactly the time it is needed, and wiping it leaves streaks that dry back within a minute. This one clears itself, so the mirror is usable straight out of the shower rather than ten minutes later. It is the difference between a mirror in a bathroom and a mirror you can actually use in one.
The light is built into the frame as an LED strip running 1.15m around the glass, which gives an even wash across a face rather than the hard overhead shadow a ceiling light leaves.
Three colour temperatures sit on a touch sensor: 3000K warm for the evening, 4500K neutral for everyday, and 6500K cool daylight for make-up and shaving. It remembers the setting you last used.
