Outdoor Up Down Wall Light IP65

The Viego Co. Outdoor Up and Down Wall Light is a compact aluminium block that throws two clean beams of warm light, one up the wall and one down it. There is no visible lamp and no shade, so what is seen at night is the pair of beams on the brickwork rather than the fitting itself.

The body is aluminium with a polycarbonate diffuser and stands 9.8 cm tall, which keeps it discreet beside a door rather than dominating it. A 3 W integrated warm white LED sits inside, so no bulb is ever fitted or replaced. It accepts AC 85 to 265 V and is hardwired, meaning nothing needs charging and nothing needs switching on by hand. The fixture is not dimmable. It is rated IP65, which covers rain and frost on an open wall, and it comes in black or white.

It suits a doorway, a porch, a garden wall or a driveway, and because it is sealed and mains fed it works equally well indoors beside a bed or along a hallway. It ships with its fixing screws. Because the LED is sealed inside the aluminium body there is no lamp holder to let water in, which is what allows the same fitting to be used inside and out. Wipe it with a damp cloth. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
